I usually do not respond but somehow feel compelled to do so this year. Any recommendation for who I should give my proxy to? The choice is either the current President Michael Pruyn or a write-in.

If you write someone in, it has to be someone who will be in attendance. I always just select the president but don't give them the right to vote on other issues that come up that are not covered by the proxy.

Same here, I give the President the proxy for scheduled items but not for other issues that may come up. I also read through the bios of any board members up for election and vote for my choices up to as many as are allowed.

Ditto for me as well.

Thank you all. There were only two people running for election, one of them is the current President. I have not been to the resort for many years so was hoping the other owners will chime in about the current state of the resort. If things are going well, I have no problem giving my proxy the the sitting president.

The person you designate is just voting in your absence. They are still voting for you based on who you selected on your proxy ballot. So you are not really giving them any real control. They can only vote how you indicate.
