Anyone ever have this happen? We were booked roundtrip on a flight out of Oakland and returning to Oakland. Hawaiian just notified us we are now outbound out of San Jose! So we are now flying out of San Jose and returning to Oakland. That logistically is a nightmare! :crash:

Because they changed your flight, you can cancel/change with no penalty, if you have a better option.

Here is an easy way to make it work: Rent a car at home, drive to the San Jose airport and turn it in - fly to Hawaii.

Reserve a car at the Oakland airport, drive it home, and turn it in the next day.

This is what we routinely do, to avoid high parking fees, and damaged/dirty car.

Not a bad idea on the rental car. We might have to do that. We usually park at my parent's house in Alameda so we avoid paying parking. I just didn't think they would change one airport like that.

They have probably cancelled the flight.

It happened to us last year with Alaska, but they rerouted us to another state, so we cancelled.

The flight still shows up out of Oakland, just earlier. I guess I won't complain too much. At least we are not flying out of LA or something!

Did you look to see if there are still seats on the earlier flight?

Ok, I just called them and they immediately told me they had already changed us back to Oakland. Maybe it was a computer glitch when the flight time changed and for some reason it put us on a different flight. But, all is good now! Thanks for the help!
