Hello all,

I hate making my first post somewhere a request for help but isnt that how it usually goes? First let me start by saying this website is amazing and Im hoping someone can help my family out of a jam.

We went to Florida this past week for our kids first trip to Disney. We mustve gotten swept up in the magic because we decided to purchase a BVC points package. Upon our return and after researching it more we have decided we want to cancel. We signed up on June 29th and its my understanding Florida law gives us 10 days to cancel.

So long story short, my wife and I spent the last couple of nights searching this excellent forum to better understand how to cancel our contract with Bluegreens. We found a bunch of helpful posts with templates and other suggestions but none of them seem to fit our specific situation. Ive read the Bluegreens contract and all it states is to send a certified letter to Bluegreens. I will do that today, I just want to make sure our bases are covered in the contents of the letter. So I joined the site here to ask for some help.

When we signed up for the BVC we also signed up for a Master Card which paid off Bluegreens. My plan was to send the cancelation letter to Bluegreens and send a copy of the correspondence to Master Card.
So my question is, do I need all the Master Card info (Account numbers and amounts) in my cancelation letter or can I simply say... "We are exercising our legal right to cancel contract number XXXXXXX."

Thanks in advance for any help or direction anyone can provide.

I would say 'please credit my MasterCard for the purchase price, xxxxx.'
