I own at Bay Club and am a member of HGVC. Next year I am hoping to book 3 or 4 nights at HHV in late November or early December 2012. I am looking for some advice on how to do this.

I know this time frame in not open yet, but when I look at the dates that opened up today they are not available. I know I need to book a min of 3 nights but the 2 nights immediately preceding the date that open up today are always sold out. Any advice on how to handle this would be appreciated.

TJ,

I think you'll be okay because Nov/Dec are Platinum (and yet not the ultra-high season) so I think you're 3 day reservation will work (and then change it to add the 4th)

I believe today is fully booked because its booking Gold Season and I think people are very aggressive on booking those dates early, because of the point discount.

I've generally had good visibility on HHV when booking exactly 9 months out -- and loading at 9pm. Even reasonable success looking at summer reservations -- funny that Gold Season appears tougher.

Best,

Greg

For a 4 night stay in December, hop online in March at midnight eastern 277 days from the date you want to check out (the check out date won't be available), then book the first three nights that you see available matching your needs. Add the 4th night the next evening when it becomes available at midnight. A changeable reservation will allow you to edit as many times as you like up to 30 days before check in without restriction.
