I have really bad news for you
1st, depending upon the size and the week the value of your unit could be as low as $500 and as high as $2500.
The resale value for anything in Orlando is less that 15% of the purchase price, for a good week, less for an off season week.
I would suggest that you spend some time and learn how best to use your ownership, read all the threads here for a few months, then ask some questions to fill in the gaps that you couldn't find answers for, then enjoy your purchase, there was a reason that got you to part with the money, just get back in touch with that reason.
Or if you paid cash, and really want to get out from under the annual fees, you can sell it here on Tug in the classified ads, our for $60 ( $10 to join, $49.95 to list a for sale ad) list in on
www.redweeks.com, free on
www.bidshares.com, or $46.95 on wwwmyresortnetwork.com
If you have an outstanding balance that you are financing, you will need to be able to pay that off to get rid of the week.
Please price it correctly, or you will just become aggravated with the lack of interest.
fwiw,
Greg
I purchase my timeshare a year ago at Westgate Lakes in Orlando, but no longer need it. I've tried various companies that all require an up front fee, can anyone please give me a company that I should sell with or the proper steps.
Thanks in Advance
