This morning at 6 AM I tried put a Last Call unit on hold. In error, I forgot to check the disclaimer box, and immediately received a prompt to do so. So, after clicking OK to the prompt and then checking the disclaimer, I hit Hold. I then proceeded to the following screen, entered my credit card information and hit continue. I thought all was well. I immediately checked my vacation plans, but the unit wasn't in my account at all!

So I immediately tried to book the unit again, but I got the "Internal System error". I logged out and signed onto RCI again, but the unit didn't show up in Last Call. I find it somewhat hard to believe that someone else took the unit at 6:00 AM, and it still hasn't come up again today. I spoke with an RCI tech guide, but all I was told was to keep checking, the unit might show up again.

Madge - can anything be done about this? RCI's website has been so tempermental lately - it's driving me crazy!

Jo,

Please send an e-mail to feedback@rci.com with TUG in the subject line. Let the Communications Team know which unit you want to conifirm and they'll see if they can find it for you!

Hi Madge,

Just wanted to let you know that the same unit showed up in Last Call again this morning. I attempted to put the unit on hold, entered my credit card information, but then received the "No valid inventory found" message at the end of the transaction. Very frustrating!

Anyway, I called RCI this morning and spoke to technical assistance, but they stated that 1) either someone else probably booked it slightly ahead of me, or 2) it was a computer glitch.

I then politely asked to speak to a supervisor, who was very patient and pleasant. After spending a lengthy amount of time on hold, she came back and found me a comparable unit at the same resort for slightly more than the Last Call price.

So I am now a happy camper.

Thanks again for replying to my message.
