In the simplest terms - no one knows what is going on with the resort. The board has gone completely silent and is not responding to any inquiries.

But, when we know something, we will post it here ASAP!

The slightly longer story: some of the whole owners are suing the various Boards and developers. The apartment owners Board that called for the dissolution vote tabled the vote, presumably while the lawsuit is pending. That suit is fairly far along, and last I checked they’d agreed to try arbitration.

In the meantime, the oceanfront buildings remain closed, but owners there (and elsewhere) are still able to book lagoon view units.

Per the 2023 Agenda section of https://kauaibeachvillasresort.com/owners-community/bod/ , there is a KBV timeshare (IOA) board meeting on Wednesday Aug 2 at 9 AM HST.

We’ll be flying and unable to dial in. All owners who are interested in attending in listen only mode (on zoom or whatever Wyndham uses) during the formal meeting are entitled. At the conclusion of the formal meeting, everyone is generally given a chance to ask questions.
