We had an overnight layover traveling to Hawaii and elected to spend the night at the Grand Hyatt DFW, which is conveniently attached to the airport. It made getting to our early morning flight so much easier than having to catch an airport shuttle. We actually had time to go to the restaurant and have a nice breakfast before our flight.

I’ve posted a video review of our stay in a standard room in case any Tuggers are considering this hotel before an early morning flight or if they have a late night arrival with a connecting flight the next day.

Hotels attached to airports are often much pricier than those nearby,
But yes, they are so much more convenient that they are worth it..

We've stayed at the hotels inside airports at Rome, Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna on the night before our flights back to the States. It gave us assurance that we'd be there to check-in on time.

Once, we stayed at the Hyatt at MCO (Orlando). We had to catch a 6:30am flight. The fire alarm sounded about 5am - we were up anyway, but it shut off the elevators. The prospect of lugging our suitcases down 4 flights of stairs was daunting. But they had employees available to help.

I hope to stay at the TWA hotel at JFK one of these days.

We had an early flight out of TPA and booked a night at the Marriott hotel there. It was the one resort that failed to honor a suite night award upgrade that was confirmed days prior. We arrived late and it seems they gave away our confirmed room and we just got a standard. Anyway, it was convenient and we got free breakfast.
