Hello everyone, I pulled the trigger and bought a timeshare. Does anyone know whether getaways are an option as a week owner within interval

As long as you have an interval account, you can always buy a getaway for cash. Just click on it, select where you want to go and it will show you what is available.

Hopefully ths was a resale week you bought and not developer?

I visited lagunamar last August and thought it was perfect with the immediate sand and aqua color Ocean access and the immediate amenities in the opposite direction. That area is shooting up. The mall directly across has numerous restaurants numerous water activities so I went for a resale of a two bedroom lock off Villa Platinum season weeks about 1900 currently as maintenance. I'm happy with it!
