Vegas Shows

Hi all: my wife and I are staying at HGVC Flamingo this Wednesday 3/4 to Saturday 3/8. Does anyone recommend any shows and does anyone know how I can get discounts off the show prices??

We were just in Vegas and saw 1)"Love" which is a Beatles Circ d Sole show at the Mirage and was excellent. 2) "Phantom" at the Venetian which was a bit different than other Phantoms and also Excellent and 3) Blue Man group at the Venetian also Very Enjoyable. All 3 shows can be purchased at a discount at Tiks 4 less (mult locations in Vegas --can find online). For best selection get there at 10 am, day of show you want to see. The best activity we did was actually RED ROCK CANYON which was only 25 minutes outside of VEGAS and totally beautiful. Cost was only $5 to drive around 13 mile loop (has numerous stopoffs with great vantage points). Pete

Any time we've been there, the timeshare tour headhunters were offering free or discounted show tickets in exchange for taking high-pressure timeshare sales tours -- not for the faint of heart but possibly semi-entertaining in a semi-twisted way.

We were in Vegas last week and saw Terry fator, the winner from America's got talent. It was an amazing show. Highly recommend.

Nathan Burton has a really good magic show at the main showroom at the Flamingo in the afternoons at 4 p.m. I would imagine you could get tickets at the half price booth or even get two-for-one coupons when you're walking around in the Flamingo. He's an amazing magician and a it's a fun show.

Mac King is another great afternoon comedy/magic show at Harrah's. There are often two-for-one coupons being handed out in Harrah's.

I also recommend Terry Fator's show. He's outstanding.

Has anyone seen Jersey Boys? Are there discounted tickets available for it?

I was thinking about seeing Donny & Marie the week before Easter, but it looks like they might be on hiatus during at least that part of April.

Everyone I've talked to here who has seen it, has loved it. I haven't gotten to see it yet, but really want to. Haven't seen discounted tickets.

I saw Jersey Boys last summer in Vegas - outstanding! I really enjoyed it and would see it again.
