can anyone advise me on what is the restrictions on bringing in food to cancun.. stop over is at mexico city, i'm not sure if we clear customs in mexico city.. have brought in prepared chicken and pork in the past years, i believe last year no beef from the US is allowed.. thanks.

You'll go through customs in Mexico City.

Last year at Cancun customs, they took our meat (beef jerky) away. :annoyed:

Don’t forget there’s Wal-Mart and Chedraui. They have everything you’ll need!
