Hi Gang,

I just stumbled onto this American Express link that promotes timeshare purchases by offering heavily discounted vacations to "eligible" vacationers, so long as they agree to sit through a timeshare pitch. If anyone is looking for a cheap vacation, and is able to say "NO" during a pitch, here are the AM EX deals currently being offered:

SVN's Westin
SVN's Sheraton
Hyatt
Marriott
Westgate

You'll see that each deal defines "eligible" vacationers differently, and usually by the vactioner's state of residence. The Starwood deals (Westin & Sheraton) at least can't be used by existing Starwood owners either.

I've never seen this many timeshare pitch deals assembled in one place before. Maybe someone can take advantage of one or two.

FYI,

Wow! I wish I had vacation time to use each one of these offers. Thanks for letting us know about them.

Nice find, I will check this out since I always use AMEX anyway.

Cheers

Might be a stupid question but...do you have to use AmEx to buy the package offered? Marriott said on its site you do, Westgate didn't....

I do not have AmEx.
