Why Did Guest Cert Charges Increase???

We know the RCI exchange fees just went up on Sept 10. What I didn't see posted anywhere, was that guest cert fees also increased to $59!! This wasn't in any of your posts. Calidave in a previous post had questioned the rationale of the institution of the $50 GC fee, why would the fee increase again so soon? I find this quite disconcerting and cannot see its justification. Your response to these questions is appreciated.

When I first discussed the price changes here, the Guest Certificate component had not been confirmed. Sorry for the confusion. Following is the complete listing, including Canadian pricing, some of which went down due to conversion rates:

Domestic Exchange Fees: $164US/$181CD

International Exchange Fee: $199US/$219CD

Exchange Cancellation Fee: $119US/$131CD

Subscription/Renewal Fees -

1-Year $89/$98CD
2-Year $159US/$175CD
3-Year $229US/$253CD

Guest Certificate fee: $59US/$65CD

The Guest Certificate fee increase is in line with the restructuring of fees within the Weeks program that I outlined in the original post.
