I just tried to call II and a recording said that due to an emergency II is closed. The message stated that they would reopen as soon as possible. I tried to log on to their website without success. ("Site contains no data" message.) Anyone know what is going on?

Message now says closed due to approaching hurricane. They have done this in the past but I don't know what hurricane is imminent to South Florida, I think it's just a recording they put on. The toll free number says something about the July 4th holiday and then disconnects.

The scale, level of performance and professionalism of II never ceases to amaze me.

Their web site is down, too. Maybe since it is down and if they don't have a manual back-up procedure, they just shut down the phones, etc. and put on an old message.

Thanks Tuggers for the heads up....I thought maybe Interval had
gone bankrupt !! But at least they now have a posting on the website;
before there was nothing and they looked like some "fly by night outfit"

But to some of the long-time Tuggers do you remember we have had
this discussion before about the approaching hurricanes? It is a very
familiar pattern....Interval simply closes their doors and goes home.

Other Tuggers involved in high-tec found it strange that Interval had
no "back up" system.

And it looks like the situation hasn't changed much over the past 5 or
6 years.

Hopefully they will be back up soon,

Regards,
Patricia

None of us know what the story is yet. I have worked in a call center before and if employees cannot access info for clients then the best bet would be to send them home after a period of time if one had a major IT issue. Being married to an IT person who works for a global company these things happen even with the best of plans. Sometimes it is from an upgrade or an event in another branch in another country.

II will fail 'cause Craig left. No one else knows what is going on.

I miss Craig's presence on TUG also. He always appeared honest, fair, and was always available to answer our questions.

The II website NEVER works properly, and what really makes me mad is how they consistantly deny there is a problem.

I spoke with a rep at II today and she told me that they lost power there yesterday. There was some sort of a power outage in the area that II is located in, so they had no phone or computers .
