I am Mike Rowell, owner of Resort Acquisitions, Inc. ("RAI").

We have set up an online consumer response line for those consumers who may have contracted with RAI to purchase timeshare properties at various destinations throughout the United States. According to company information, Timeshare Liquidators, LLC, an independent company that RAI has used in the past to market and sell timeshare properties owned by RAI has executed deals with some consumers, yet has failed to fulfill the transfer of the underlying property. To those consumers who may have fallen victim to Timeshare Liquidators, LLC, RAI wants to ensure you that it too has been harmed by Timeshare Liquidators’ recent activities and has no association or affiliation with that company, Vacations Solutions, or Corporate Direct Sales, etc. RAI is and will continue to be a timeshare industry leader in consumer satisfaction, and will make every reasonable effort to assist consumers in recovering the property in which they are legally entitled.

If you have contracted with Timeshare Liquidators, LLC to buy a RAI property, or if you have used Timeshare Liquidators, LLC for the purchase of a timeshare and are unsure if it is an RAI property, and have made payment to Timeshare Liquidators, LLC without receiving your property please send a written inquiry to Resort Acquisitions, Inc.’s Consumer Response Line at actionrequest4rai@yahoo.com. In your inquiry please provide the following information: your name, phone number, name of the property purchased, unit number, week number and date of purchase. In addition, if available, please forward any and all invoices received from Timeshare Liquidators, LLC and/or payment confirmations from PayPal or any other form of payment. RAI will make every attempt to identify your purchase as an RAI property and provide you with a reply as to its status within 3 business days.

Sincerely,

Michael R. Rowell

I am not affected by this, but even so, I appreciate your being willing to help those who are. It speaks well for your company.

Welcome to TUG. I hope you are able to recover your loses in this unfortunate situation.

Sheila

Thanks, Sheila! The response line is working pretty well. It has helped us indentify several buyers whom will be receiving what they contracted for from us. It is also helping the police as we are forwarding all Timeshare Liquidators purchases that were not our properties to them to be added to the list of complaints.

Mike R.

Are you by any chance using a group called Timeshare Group LLC? The lisitngs they use on eBay are very similar in design to Timeshare Liquidators descriptions.

Cheers

I have sent an email to your website. Thank you for stepping up to handle a bad situation. We got stung by Jacob Desnon and the billing showed Resort Acquisitions as the merchant. when I called to folow up they told me it would take 6 to 8 weeks for the transfer. When I called after that period they gave me another stall.

Do you have a fax number where we can submit proof of charges?
Thank you. DonnaD.

Abellee...Nope, we are not using Timeshare Group LLC. Heve never heard of them. Sorry.

Mike

DonnaD...I am sending you our fax number via PM through this board...Please advise as to receiving it. If the property was in fact one of ours we will do our best to get it transferred.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike, I faxed the information to you at the number you gave me. Is it OK to post that information here? Also, what are the results of your findings? Thank you. DonnaD

I was wondering if anyone has heard from Mike Rowell? He emailed me 20 days ago saying that yes they had my timeshare and that it went to the lawyers and he would get back to me with all the details. I have emailed 4 times if not more and have had no response. Thanks

I have gotten a similar response. Try phoning them - you may get through. The whole thing is a big mess. Luckily, I am only out $275. I am still trying to find out what is happening.
