Which of the Marriots has the best accommodations? Newest? We will be doing US and Disney! We are 4 adults and need 3 beds! We like a nice pool but do not need kid activities. Would love to here people's opinions!

Hi,
To get 3 actual beds you would want
Grand vista dedicated 2 bedroom (not lock off) or a 3 bedroom
Harbour lake dedicated 2 bedroom (not lock off)
Lakeshore reserve dedicated 2 bedroom or any 3 bedroom
Imperial Palms-- only 3 bedrooms
Sabal palms

Harbour lake is more for families with little children but my husband and I enjoyed it last year. 2nd bedroom has view of the corridor.

Grand vista has some really nice evening adult activities and the second (and some 3rd) bedroom has same view as master.

Lakeshore is fantastic -my only complaint is that the balconies are not screened. Master and 2nd bedroom have the same view.

Sabal Palms is very close to disney. It is on the Marriott World Centre campus (and very close) so you have access to the pools, restaurants, and health club there.
Almost all of the 2nd bedrooms look out over the entrance way.
There are a couple of stairs in the unit in two locations. two stories and no elevators.

Imperial palms has 3 bedrooms and two bathroom. 1King, 1 queen and sofa, 2 single beds. It is the closest to Disney. You have access to the Marriott World centre. A bit farther from the World Centre pools but they have a shuttle.

All of these will provide you a great vacation.
Pam

We stay at Lakeshore at least once each year and we never get tired of it. We love the amenities, staff and villas there.

For all adults, Lakeshore has the most upscale adult feel to it. Furthest from Disney, but only by a few more mins via car. Grande Vista is larger and busier, but has lot of activities (golf, etc). It's scale is nice and still good for adults. It has quiet pools also, if desired. Cypress Harbour is good as well. Quieter than Grande Vista and a bit more 'lush' feeling to it.

Lakeshore only has 95 units. Compare that to the 900 at Grande Vista and you can see why the availability comes and goes so quickly. It's not that it is a hard exchange during the shoulder or off-season, but instant availability doesn't last long.

Even though it's not built out Lakeshore was always planned as a more upscale resort with a small number of larger units. Only 245 units were planned. Harbour Lake, which also never finished build out, has 312 of a planned 588.
