Skyline Tower

Saw that there was lobby construction and when I called to request a floor they told me that the fitness center has been moved to the 7th floor during the construction.

Has anyone been recently?

Am their now. Is there anything you want me to check on? Yes the lobby is closed for construction. The sales presentation was the best ever, professionally done, great rep. He indicated that there is no wait list coming. The Safe whatever program is not happening in the form being relayed on other threads.

When questioned about was the Safe whatever was being raised at another resort. He was not aware of it and researched it. After researching it, he pointed out a pamphlet entitled "The good life. VIP Owner pamphlet" under the section called "Exclusive VIP Benifit" the provision that state, "Receive (1) upgrade on existing reservations to the next larget unit available." This is subject to a unit being available. The clause underneath it states,"Receive an instant upgrade at the time of booking to the next largest unit available. This provision is also subject to unit availability. Silver is within 30 days, Gold is withiin 45 days, Platinum is within 60 days. There is no 10 minute period made reference to that holds a cancelled unit for that period of time for re-booking using discounted points.

Thanks rrlongwell. Only doing a weekend there so not looking to do the owners update. Unless they offer us something really good. Just did one at Bonnet Creek beginning of March for Seaworld tickets.

Is the outdoor hot tub open? How are the elevators running?

And did you go to the Revel? Is it all that? Its not scheduled to open until the 2nd but heard that they are having some sort of soft opening starting today.

Will check Revel, wife called before we got here and they indicated the soft opening was April 2. Regarding Skyline Towersm, three elevators working, low use. They are acceptable, but the weekend could get brutal. Everything on the 6th Floor is working except the gym is now on the 7th floor. The outside hot tub is working. According to the following article, Revel is open as of last night on an invation only basis and will open Monday for the general public.

I am looking forward to visiting AC and I was wondering exactly where Skyline tower is. We have stayed in Taj Mahal and I thought i read where it was behind it? Is it easy to get to the beach and boardwalk from here and how is the neighborhood? thanks.

Walking distance to the Boardwalk. It is near the Taj Mahal and the Resorts. The easyiest way from Skyline Tower is to cross the street at some point and go through the Resorts to their Boardwalk entrance.

yes its a easy walk to the beach. We went just before Christmas and walked from the boardwalk back to the room about 10PM and lets just say there are some "interesting" peolpe roaming the area after dark...

It is a great resort. A great alternative to staying is smokey casino hotels or in the run down motels.
