New Marriott Program's "definitions"

Although I have received nothing but the glossy fold out, there are several terms floating around (that I never heard of) BEFORE the roll out.
Could some of our more savy Tuggers define the following:

Legacy owner
Legacy points
Weeks owner
Weeks points
Explorer Collection
Exchanger
Premier Exchanger
Plus-points
I know there are several more...but this is just a quick list

Premier Exchanger -I would suspect this is just referring to someone who has a certain number of points (6,500 - 12,999) that has Premier Status. Above 13,000 the category becomes Premier Plus.

Plus-points - the incentive points that Marriott has given us that are single use, and non-transferrable, as a signing bonus for joining the program

Trust Points Owner -- what we are calling someone who has purchased points directly from Marriott -- this is different from the Legacy Points Owner, who's points were obtained from redeeming their deeded week for points

I hope this helps! Note that the term "Legacy" appears to be a TUG invention -- not all Marriott representatives recognize that term, it's just something that we are using to help with the discussions.

Okay here are the definitions as I understand them:
Legacy owner/Enrolled Owner - MVC owner prior to 6/20/10 who chooses to enroll in the new Marriott Vacation Destination Club

Legacy points - the points Marriott has assigned to each of the timeshare weeks you enroll. You use them by electing to convert your timeshare weeks into points. If you don't convert them you use your weeks as you always have and you may convert one week to points and use the other as a week.

Weeks owner - anyone who owns one or more Marriott timeshare weeks

Weeks points - same as legacy points

Explorer Collections - the new list of tours and travel packages that you can choose from if you purchase points or enroll your weeks in Marriott's Vacation Club Destination Program. The details are available by logging into your my vacation club website if you are an owner.

Exchanger - not sure this one is a Marriott term but as used on this Board I think its anyone who exchanges weeks or points.

Premier Member (not Exchanger) - Marriott is giving more privileges based on how many points you own. A "Premier Member" owns 6500-12,999 Points (can derived from the points assigned to the weeks you own if you enroll in the program or a combination of the points from the weeks you own and points you purchase. Premier Plus Member owns 13,000 points or more. These point designations may be changed by Marriott.

Plus-points - the "bonus" points that you get for enrolling in the program (currently 800). You will get more bonus points for purchasing points. The smallest number of points available for a weeks owner to purchase is 1,000. These points are a one time only deal and they expire 12/31/11 if you enroll or purchase now. They cannot be banked.

Thank you both for the definitions. We have been on the road for weeks in Marbella and Andalucia and I have been following the boards when I can. I was also confused by these terms. We bought resale in Aruba after reading TUG about 5-6 years ago. I think we will stay the way we were as we tend to use the unit.
