How many TS units are deeded to owners?

In other words how many units are in circulation with owners? Not developer owned.

Total does not have to exact. We can take the total of units and subtract 15% to come up with a ball park figure?

Where can I find out?

Back in 2006 another TUG member known as cp73 asked himself a similar question having to do with how many units exists at each Marriott Resort.

cp73 complied a list and posted it.

That list is available here on TUG today as a sticky.

From that list you can ascertain how many units were deeded as of the date the list was compiled.

Note that such a list is difficult to maintain, so that is probably why it has not been provided since 2006.

Someone like yourself who wants to update the list could probably get data from Marriott SEC filings, Annual Reports, or from information that is provided by Sales & Marketing of Marriott Resorts.

Thank you. I now remember viewing that Sticky.

So I am going to do some rough math here. 649,000 + 50,000(estimate of new units built since 2006) = 700,000 rounded up.

Now I will estimate that 15% of that total are unsold developer units.

700,000 -105,000 = 595,000 individual owner units in circulation.

Again this is my rough estimate (+ or - ) say 25%.

So let's say there are 600,000 owner units in circulation worldwide.
