Hello ALL

Posted over yonder as well.

Will be checking in to the Manhattan Club this Friday evening.

Any recent news or item's of interest we should be aware of. Or any suggestions.

Our schedule so far is:

Saturday Night we have stage tickets to Xanadu.

Sunday is open so far, perhaps Chinatown and the shops on Canal. Maybe

one or both of the pickle shop's by Essex.

Monday so far will be Lunch at the United Nations

Tuesday ticket's to Gypsy

Wednesday we have ticket's to November at 2:00 and the Circus at 7:30.

Thursday we go to see Hairspray.

Friday it's back to Newark airport and pick up a rental car then see my Mom who lives in New Jersey for 4 days. Rental car was ALOT cheaper picking it up and returning it at the Airport (even with cost of shuttle from MC to the airport), rather than picking it up in the city and paying higher rates and high drop off fee's.

Wife is kinda upset tho.

She just found out yesterday, that her University of Florida Gator's Basketball team will be playing at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday and if they win will then play on Thursday.

She want's to go, but does not want to give up the Theatre ticket's.

Whenever we go to NYC we go to Joe's Shanghai in Chinatown. Here's the link: http://www.joeshanghairestaurants.com/
We order the soup dumplings (called xiao long bao) and whatever else we're in the mood for - like the house special rice cakes (nian gao). It's small and gets crowded, but the soup dumplings are the best this side of China! Of course since you're planning to be there on weekend-day, you could also go for dim sum for an early lunch. If you don't know what that is, you should definitely try it!! ;)

Then we go to the Indian restaurants on E. 6th . . . and then to the West Village. We love to eat in NYC. :D

If the weather's nice, don't miss strolling in Central Park. Have a great time!

I am a UNiversity of Miami fan, but if they were playing in NYC...that would be an easy choice as I would quickly dump my theater tix.
