I inquired about two years ago about possibly donating one of my timeshares, and was told at that time that it wasn't on the list of timeshares in demand. Yesterday a guy calls from this organization telling me he was calling me because of the two year old inquiry and to inform me of their "new program" for the timeshare I was trying to donate two years ago. He said within eight weeks, the timeshare would be out of my name forever, into their name, and they'd then sell it to raise money for the charity. He mentioned a fee involved. I asked what the fee amounted to, to which he replied, it's $1895.00, which he added is "tax deductible".
Needless to say, it all sounds fishy to me, and I'm definitely not going this route.

Good choice. It is a slightly modified Z"post Card Company" approach that is wise to avoid.
