I will be at the Hilton club in New York June 2-7 and would like to go to the theater. Does anyone have any suggestions for current plays and musicals that are considered the best ones to see now.

I am considering An American in Paris and It's Only a Play (Have heard mixed reviews on this one).

Does anyone also know if that is considered a busy time of year.

We are going in October and already have tickets for "An American in Paris". I bought the tickets before the Tony nominations came out and I'm glad I did.

Dd is also going to see "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time", which was also nominated for quite a few Tony awards. She read the book and was very interested in seeing the play.

The revival of The King and I at Lincoln Center ."I really wanted to go and it was sold out when we were there in April...I heard that it was wonderful.
