Pancho's and El Delphin are about the closest directly across from PB Maz' entry.
Can't address the artwork. There are a wealth of Maz (and everywhere else) maps free for the searching.

Is it important? I didn't recognize the place from the interior picture. Not that I have patronized every joint in town- and frankly we are more likely to go to places that are geared more to local people than tourists. If the sign and menu outside the door is in English, with few exceptions, we will go elsewhere. That applies to most of the ones down Cameron Sabalo.

I know the place you are talking about and recognize it from your pictures. It was called Munchkins and was directly across from PB. It is now closed (we were just there in February). There is still a Munchkins open closer to the Malecon.

Thanks so much! I thought I was going a little crazy. My sister is going to Mazatlan in January and I wanted to tell her about it.

I'm trying to think of the name of the restaurant directly across from the Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan (not Emerald Bay) where they had writing on all the pillars and ceiling, etc. They had Karaoke when I was there many years ago.

I know the place you are thinking about and it is no longer there. They moved to downtown from hat I was told. Now Panchos is across the street. Hope this helps!
What you say is absolutely true and it's great if people know all that before they go to a presentation. However, many posters here have found TUG after they've bought a Mexican timeshare and they are asking what their rights might be.

BTW, I recommend the Panchos across the street, very good food, service, and prices, free stuffed pepper appetizer and free after dinner mixed drink. We were at PB Mazatlan last January. We ate there three times. There was always enough leftovers for lunch the next day.:)
