We have a week on hold(2 bedroom) and are wondering if it is possible to push the 2 double beds together to make 1. Also, do they have specific buildings that have check in/out on certain days? Ours would be Friday check in/out. Thanks!

Not sure about specific buildings/days, as I can have any day check in as owner and generally request area vs specific building.

If you want one bed, request it, you don't have to do the work. The resort is very accommodating.

Maybe

I think you would have to move other furniture also. Best I remember there is a nightstand between the two double beds. (I just checked the floorplans and there is a nightstand with the lamps between the 2 beds). And I'm not sure how close together you could push the two beds. You may be able to get the beds close, but, I wouldn't think it would be like a single bed.
As far as room selection goes, you should be able to select the building you would like to be in upon check in. Because they check in on all days of the week, you just have to go with what is available at the time. We have 2 weeks at PBSB and although we are allowed to request certain buildings we don't always get what we request due to availability.
Edit: I have to disagree with geekette that they would move out the two double beds and replace with one (larger) bed. Although they can be accommodating, I just can't see them doing that.

We have a 1-bedroom unit at PBEB, and always request that the bedroom has a King bed. Even when we check in, if they have assigned a unit with 2 beds instead, they reassign one with the King bed. My guess is that PBSB will too.

I am not sure about a 2-bedroom unit. The 2nd bedroom is generally a lock-out unit that has 2 beds.

I don't believe there are any lock-out units at PBSB.

But, just ask that the two beds be pushed together. They will do that for you.

When we stayed at Pueblo Bonito Blanco last year they joined the two double beds together and made it into one massive bed.

Sunset has a King is one room of the two bedroom units and the one bedrooms typically have 2 queens, you can ask for a King room. There are a few.

I wasn't referring to same unit, just that one should request the config they want and they will get a unit arranged that way. I do believe that they will join or unjoin beds depending on supply/demand, but I never go at Prime Time so get a unit already set to one big bed.

If inventory at check-in was tight, they'd join the bed for you but I request by area vs bldg so have never had a room changed for me. All of the views are great for me. Ready to go back!!
