Free: 1 Bedroom Fixed (Spring Break) Week #14 at Carlsbad Seapointe

Usage begins in 2016.
(2015 Maintenance Fees were $914.76, 2016 MFs have not been billed yet.)

Note: Resort offers day use privileges for owners.

Cost:
Free
I will pay: resort transfer and recording fees

We would split:
Closing costs. $100/buyer, rest paid for by seller

Currently this week gets 28 TPU's from RCI. (2016 would be a bit less since it is closer to check in). We own here and use the day use all the time. The pool with the ocean view is awesome.

This is a really nice resort. It is a very generous offer.

It may be a fixed week, but the units are not fixed, a lottery system is used to get your room assignment. Owners should have no problem getting one of the ocean view units on the third floor. Note that the resort is across the road from the beach, its not beachfront.

This has been our experience as well. My sister and I both own at Seapointe, and both of us have always had 3rd floor units.

You can also get bonus time - discounted nights available to owners only. And GPX (Grand Pacific's exchange) has great deals on bonus weeks.

We just spent last week at Seapointe on a bargain giveaway unit that we took over last year. Oceanview 2nd floor unit. We also just purchased a 1/2 priced bonus week in Wisconsin Dells for May to be used with our kids and grandkids. Those bonus weeks are great and when they have sales, even better. We spent the week before last at Napa Riverpointe in a bonus week.

This week is still available - the person who responded first had to back out.

I know these weeks can be sold, but I haven't had the best experiences selling on ebay, so my first choice would be finding a new home with a TUG user.

We too have had great luck with their bonus weeks. We were able to get 2 3-bedroom units in Orlando for Christmas week with one of their latest sales and it was an incredible deal. Thanks for chiming in.

What is a bonus week? Is it offered through RCI or Grand Pacific Resorts? Also, does day use transfer to resale owners?

Yes, the above answer is correct. Thanks for replying. I only get to check this thread every day or two.

For the 1 bedroom unit, you are allowed day use privileges for up to 4 people at a time.
