Foxrun 2 BR week 19 - Free

Foxrun (NC) 2 BR townhouse, week 19, May, usually Mother's Day. Maintenance fee under $700/week. Trades in both RCI and II, but I have only used II. I got this timeshare to venture in to the II system,to experience Marriotts and to take advantage of the XYZ 2-for-1 deals, and I have not been disappointed. I get an AC every year also, which has to be used on the grid.
This is also a VRI managed resort, and can be traded in their own system.

**NOTE** The Manhattan Club trade was only 2 weeks out, flex change, but it was the best trade we've had with this unit (penthouse)

Usage is for 2016, recipient will be responsible for the 2016 maintenance fees. I will pay for the closing and transfer.

I have to reduce my portfolio, and since this is the only unit I have that trades in II and my others are all in RCI, I have decided to part with it.

First, I think this is the most comprehensive listing I've seen. Nicely done! Second, where can I read about XYZ and AC? I'm not familiar with those acronyms.

XYZ Exchange:Two exchanges booked against a single deposit.

AC: Accommodation Certificate.

The exchanges to Australia were done with an XYZ. Since a 2 bedroom was deposited, I could get a 1 BR and a studio, paying 2 exchange fees of course. You don't have to use the extra unit at the same place, but this was booked for a friend who needed 2 units.
The accommodation certificate lets you pick up an extra week for the exchange fee, but they are more restrictive.
I only used an AC once. I have too many weeks on deposit as it is, hence the need to downsize.

You should consider keeping it and giving Exchange Seminars to pay the maintenance fees. Those are some good trades.

Yes, they are. I get really good ones in RCI too.

I've learned from the best - here at TUG and Timehareforums. You really have to invest a lot of time to learn how to maximize your timeshares. It's become a hobby to me.

I have not had much luck with either SFX or DAE, though. I think because I am tied to the school schedule, and because we tend to vacation on the east coast.

My husband changed his job a few years ago. He used to get 5 1/2 vacation weeks a year. He now gets 2. Hence, too many weeks and not enough time.

I just got a notice from II that they will give an accommodation certificate with the deposit of this 2016 week.

Will pay 2016 maintenance or give an SFX banked week

Maintenance bill just came in for 2016 - $700 even. I will pay the fees transfer. This week will earn an AC from II. OR I have a banked week in SFX (1BR) that I will transfer to someone who will give this timeshare a good home.
