I recently noticed on the HGVC web page on the Elite tab a link to "Resor-Time.com offers". Haven't seen any threads on this before so just passing along and assume it something relatively new? Evidently HGVC Elite members can reserve a place using points. The point structure seems to run from as low as 875 pts at the Starr Pass Golf suites in Tucson to 6500pts per night at Cabo San Lucas Montecristo Estates. Most seem to be in the 1K-2K range per night with 30 resorts to choose from including 7 states (AZ, CA, CO, FL, HI, NV, and SC) plus Ireland and Mexico. If this info was passed on earlier my apologies.

Access to a select group of ResorTime locations is now available to members of Hilton Grand Vacations Club with Elite Status. You can review the eligible resorts is available online, but you will need to call if you want to confirm a reservation. This is using your ClubPoints or Bonus Points only. No cash reservations through this program.

Q: What is ResorTime?
A: ResorTime.com is a new concept in vacation rentals - now available to the public! We are the largest and most established, rental reservation service in the Timeshare Industry, offering travelers discounted condo rentals around the world, without having to take a tour. We acquire our condo rentals from resorts that have open condo availability either because a Timeshare owner cannot use their chosen week or they have listed their week for rent. That's why ResorTime.com gets such great rates. Now anyone can enjoy the space and convenience of a luxury resort condo and save up to 50%* a night at hundreds of exciting vacation destinations.

Q: Do I have to be a timeshare owner to get great rates on these timeshare rentals?
A: No you do not. Timeshare Owners enjoy the lowest rates that ResorTime.com offers, however ResorTime.com has made it possible for the General Public to get great rates on luxury resort condos without being a timeshare owner with the Free or Premier Memberships. The Premier Membership allows members to enjoy discounted rates up to one year in advance.

It doesn't seem all that great. This is what Hilton Timeshare owners don't really need...even more places in Florida and Honolulu. Why can't HGVC form alliances with companies that have more of a presence in the Caribbean or other Hawaii islands like Maui?
