Has anyone received a call recently from Wyndham Vacation Ownership about new structure changes to Wyndham? I received a voice mail a few days ago and when I called the guy back (Kyle) he wanted to set up a 20 minute appointment for a Manager to go over new structural changes. I told the guy I have been to enough owner updates to know everything going on with Wyndham. He claimed it was new information that the sales staff would not know. I politely said no thank you and hung up before he could say anything else.

Have not had time to much to do much timeshare sharing recently. However, did get a call from sales for my son, they wanted to give him a free week presumably to go to a presentation. He does not attend them.

It appears from the various recent threads the sales pitch efforts appear to become to be showing up in different forums from our point of view.

Have not heard the Manager version before but that one and the others that are appearing with new twists are of passing interest.

Hopefully, others that received the Manager version will post. The posts pertaining to buy backs in various forms is also of interest. Wonder if the buy backs are on behalf of the trust or if Corporate Wyndham is buying up the better units and holding them in their Rental Arm activities.

The Atlantic City posts are not surprising, it would be a great thing if Wyndham took one or more of the Casino Resorts. However, it is not likely they will keep the Casino parts running if they do.

Cut as nosy people a break, go to it and get back with us on the Manager one (changes to structure, possible additions to Atlantic City etc).

I find 1 million owners just a little suspect. Could it have been 1 thousand owners?

I'll get in line for a free 2 night stay. I've done it before with other timeshare companies. I know how to say "no".

1 million is reasonable if you count worldmark and shell.

Telemarketer said WWW. Given WVO had around 527K owners at 12/31/2013, WorldMark ball park 300K and Shell 100K does pass smell test.

Sounds like sales weasels are seducing around 10K unfortunate souls a month!

But then, Main Man said around 52 million in waiting.:bawl:
