Wyndham Rio Mar

Recently attended a sales presentation at rio mar. Was told by the sales staff, availability is ample at this property and through august point values are halved due to the construction. Is this true? Not a member yet, but wanted to make sure he isn't pulling wool.

He said a full week would normally be 154,000 but is 77,000... Just looking to find out if this is true.

Were they selling deeded, UDI, or right to use contracts here or Club Wyndham Access? Anything said on Club Wyndham Pass?

Am showing availability is there in August 2014. Dates throughout the mouth. These appear to be hotel rooms that are available. Here is a example.

I am not sure what you mean by "throughly august point values are halted due to the construction"?

I guessed that it was supposed to mean that currently August point values are halted due to the construction.

that still doesn't make sense. meaning there is no availability? they are charging for a different season? I have no idea what is meant even interpreting the quote that way.

Ahhh... now the edited post makes sense.

If they are halving the point values, the construction may be a real nuisance.

Currently they are selling club Wyndham points based out of bonnet creek or Panama City.

Also based on your research, it seems as though these guys are scammers... I would assume that's a normal weekend allocation of points here.... No discount as said by sales.

Just good old Wyndham Sales. Do not know anything about this resort other than what I posted, but it does not look so good and if what you actually are buying is Bonnet Creek or Panama City, then it does not really matter. You pay the posted Wyndham rate through the reservations system. No ARP at that location nor does it look like any is particularly needed. On the last point, I would defer to someone that is tracking the resort.

I stayed at condos near this resort about 3 years ago. The hotel, pools, and beaches are luxurious. These prices are quite good for a resort of this quality. I would highly recommend it, especially at these prices.
