I am giving away my annual floating week 1-52 Palm unit (1br 2ba) timeshare at the Imperial of Waikiki. I don't want to do it, but I'm scaling back my timeshare ownerships in anticipation of my upcoming retirement, and it's time to find this one a new home.
Imperial of Waikiki (http://www.imperialofwaikiki.com/index.asp) is a high rise building located at the ocean end of Lewers Street in the heart of Waikiki. The beach is literally across the street, less than a five minute walk, and is accessed via a public walkway between two buildings. The Wyndham Waikiki Beach Walk timeshare is next door, and the Trump Tower is a block away. The building offers a swimming pool and spa, gym, laundry, a huge Owner's Lounge on the 25th Floor, with magnificent views of Waikiki and the ocean sunsets. There is on-site valet parking, excellent concierge services, a recently-remodeled ABC Store, and a 24-hour Denny's Restaurant right off the lobby. This is not a fancy place, but it is clean, well kept, and is the best located timeshare in Waikiki.
I am offering this ownership absolutely free of charge. I will pay the closing costs and transfer fees for the new owner. There is nothing owing on the ownership, there are no special assessments, and maintenance fees are current. 2014 maintenance fees were $935.64 for payment by cash/check. (Paying by credit card is 3% higher.) I have already traded the 2014 week, so your first year of use will be 2015. Your first cost will be the 2015 maintenance fees, which will be billed in November 2014, and will be due in January 2015.
This resort is RCI code 2605, and it's an awesome trader. Check the RCI trade value calculator, and you'll see a Christmas or New Year's week earns around 56 TPU. The resort also exchanges beautifully with the alternate exchange companies. I've exchanged this one bedroom through SFX for a 2 bedroom at the Maui Schooner in Kihei. Hawaii Timeshare Exchange has an office inside the Imperial building, for face-to-face service.
If you're interested or have any questions, please let me know. I have not listed this anywhere else, as I prefer to pass this along to a TUG member. Thanks for reading.
