Will Grand Mayan N.V. allow you to have day guests to swim/eat for a day?

Will Grand Mayan let you have guests for a day? They didn't used to allow anyone who was not staying there to be in the swimming area even to eat at the poolside restaurant. Are they still that picky? When we come, we have friends who are staying in other resorts and we'd like to have them visit for the day but NOT if we just have to sit in our room (looking at the garage!) as we have done in the past.

I don't know about the GM, but I believe the MP allows it. Your guests will check in with you and open a tab. It's been years since I did this. But last time I did do this, my guests had a wristband that indicated to the staff they were there for the day.

Good! Glad to hear that as some years ago we were not allowed to have guests except in our rooms. We'll be there in Feb and I know we'd like to have some visitors.

Guest at the GM

Last year while staying at the MP we had guests come for the day. They had to check in, get a wrist band and they were good to go! Make sure that they have your name and room number for ID purposes. Our guests did not know our room number and the guards at the front gate gave them a hard time. Good luck... It should all work out well. Vida will not miss a chance to take their money. As a matter of fact our guests were promised $750 to go to a presentation the following day. They went....said no and collected the $750.
