How many people will they allow in a 2 bedroom unit at the Royal Sands? I know that their policy is 6 people, but I've heard that you can have more than that if you want to pay more per day. Do small kids (under 2 years old) count?

Do what I did. Email the resort asking the question, and then you have a written response if you show up at the front desk with them all...

Ronman,
I'm looking at their resort book right now and it states, "If you are a member, one additional person may be allowed in a villa upon payment of the $25 US per day occupancy fee at the time of your stay". There is no mention of any age considerations.

Hope this helps...

I believe the membership agreement, aka contract, says that the additional is ok as long as one person is under the age of.....I think 11. Asking for written clarification from the resort is the best idea. Recepcionrs@royalresorts.com.

Ronman,
from my own experience, they will typically make allowances for one or two children under a certain age ( we've been told 16 and we've been told 12 so it appears to be a loose policy)
As was suggested previously, I would email the resort and get something in writing (so to speak)

I've never understood why they have sleeping arrangements for 8 that they limit it to 6. Even the dishes, glasses and flatware are enough for 8 when you use the ones from the lock off. How would they even know if you had more than 6?

Do they make everyone wear armbands to show if you have the ai option or not these days?
