Diamond = Any Week. Emerald = Certain "Quiet" Weeks.

When we owned there, being able to reserve any week 1-52 meant Diamond.

Most likely, that's still how it is.

Hello Topdog,

I am interested if the 3 BR / 3 BA can be locked-off, and both sides deposited with RCI.

I thought I read somewhere that Cypress Pointe when locked off can only deposit the "2 bedrooms" side, that nobody accepts the "studio" side because there is not even a mini-kitchen, and because of the way the room is layout in relation to the bathroom.

Do you know, or can you confirm whether both sides can be deposited with RCI?

Cypress Pointe 2BR & 3BR units can be deposited with RCI.

Cypress Pointe 1BR units cannot be deposited with RCI.

But it's OK to rent out Cypress Pointe 1BR units independently if you don't plan on using yours yourself.

Also, it's OK to split the 3BR week at Cypress Pointe -- use the 2BR unit now & reserve the adjoining 1BR lock-off unit for later (or vice versa). (There's a split-use fee for doing that, however.)

Thanks AwayWeGo for answering. This definitely put a damper into my interest and enthusiasm. I am definitely looking for an RCI trader to a place I wouldn't mind going if RCI falls though, but mainly looking for trades.

Fret not.

Cypress Pointe (Gold Crown now) has strong trade power.

Reserve & deposit a prime-demand week (e.g., Christmas, Independence Day, etc.) & you'll score RCI's maximum TPUs for exchanges.

Sharket Dot Com gives Cypress Pointe a salability score of 7.

By contrast, Wyndham Bonnet Creek scores 5 on Sharket.
