Here in California, some toll roads require transponders like FasTrak, which they do sell in Costco for something liked $40 but with $40 credit. Not so hot for a trip to Disneyland.

Other roads that are doing away with cash have One-Time-Toll, a system by which you have 5 days (but after a while this will reduce to 48 hours) to go online and pay the toll. You can also set up license-reading accounts, but this will generally cost $1 more per toll point than having a transponder. And toll points come about every 10 minutes.

We have a second EZPass on our account for use in rental cars. Works on most East Coast pass systems.
