I know we can transfer our points to another member, but can we transfer from different home clubs? I am wondering if I could trade a years worth a points with a Hawaii club owner to get the 12 month booking window and they could use my points for a 12 month booking at my home locations.

I transferred some of my points to a friend in Hawaii club and he had to wait to 9 months out to reserve. This was a couple of years ago.

Okay. So, I think that means the points would morph into whatever the account holder owns? I can book Hawaii at 9 months without owning there. It sounds like that will stay the same and no benefit to transferring points for what I wanted to do.

Our experience was the points were added to our account and followed the booking rules based on which club the account was in. We were booking less than 9 months out, so not sure if they could be used 12-9 months out - would be a nice benefit if they were able to be used earlier!

If you book right at nine months, I would bet you will get whatever you want.

I don't understand why you guys don't understand what I was thinking. :D

I should have said that I transferred my points from a non hawaii account to a friend who has a Hawaii account and he could not use them until it was 9 months out.
