I’ve managed to acquire more timeshare weeks than I can realistically use, and decided that my ski money was better spent on shorter regional trips. So, I have two weeks, an annual and a biennial (odd), available for 2 bedroom units at the Whistler Vacation Club at Twin Peaks. Favorable exchange rates make Whistler a great value for a ski vacation, or an affordable trader with enough power to book peak times.

Free, buyer pays $150 CDN (~$114 USD) transfer fees per unit. For the annual unit, the 2016 maintenance fees have been paid. I haven’t deposited it into RCI yet, and will include the 2016 use year for reimbursement of the maintenance fee.

  • Right to use, in perpetuity ownership = less hassle than a deeded timeshare
  • Platinum weeks with flexible booking, for any weeks other than Presidents, Christmas, or New Years’ weeks (unless those weeks are left over after fixed week owners book them)
  • Maintenance fees are $1,000 CDN (~$757 USD). Pay in January, or at the time of booking for a future use year up 24 months in advance
  • Availability to book units with relatively short notice, the extras go up on booking.com for 2-3 times the maintenance fees
  • Free to book for yourself, or $25 CDN for a guest certificate
  • RCI resort #3881, good for up to 31 TPUs

Hi there;
I am new to this...so sorry for any stupid questions.
Is this in RCI? Is there a cost to transfer this as well.
Where is closing done, in Canada or the US

You are depositing this for this year, so use can not be had until 2017?

Thanks Sarah
