Also note the large number who've registered in the last couple of days. That number hardly reflects the ones who are lurking, hoping to get news of their resorts.

Folks going to Cabo might consider taking a suitcase full of wound care supplies, dental care stuff, etc. I've done that after hurricanes in the Yucatan and there is always a local organization, even in Playa del Carmen a dive shop was collecting supplies for locals who lost everything. Also don't forget about the pets there; if you've a soft spot for dogs and cats in distress you can donate via paypal via this site:http://www.loscaboshumanesociety.com/donate.html
