We will be staying at Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Glade the week of Easter (March 23); can anyone share with us the the day trips this resort offers to Nashville and Pidgeon Forge area? We have been to Crossville before and are familiar with the local area. Thanks, Al

We were there a couple of years ago and took the bus trip to the Grand Ole Opry. We had a good time, but I no longer remember the details. We drove to the Sevierville-Pigeon Forge-Gatlinburg area ourselves rather than take the bus trip. We wanted more flexibility in our schedule than a bus trip would permit.

You might consider calling the resort and asking them to send you a copy of their current activities sheet.

We went there and took the day trips ourselves as we wanted more freedom to go to the shows and we have 4 kids so it was expensive for all of us to go. Also, you have to go to their fish fry onsite, it was awesome. However, they have tons of activities planned there. Just a note, its also a residential area mixed in with the resort.

We will check in March 22. My son is a golfer, so I anticipate playing each day and just relaxing the rest.
