Usage for this year remains as I paid the maint fee of $1,045 or so. It is yours starting 2015- next fees due in Jan. Must use a reputable closing company. Thanks!

Hi Blondie,

When is the expiration date of the RH contract?

How much are the point transfer fees?

Thanks

Richard

Hello,
I just wanted to say that this seems like a great points to MF ratio. My understanding is that you are able to use these points to stay in Northern NJ and NYC with as few as 20-30k points for week at a 4 ppl suite with limited kitchen.
Not bad for about 1.1K annually.
Too bad that Royal Holiday only does Right to Use.

Hi- The annual usage is until 2038. The cost to transfer it is $650 and I will pay half. I have used this mainly for NYC. I typically get 4 weekends a year- approx 12 days in the big apple-some over NY eve and some over thanksgiving-
yes they charge a $60 surcharge per night, still a great deal for my needs. I do not go to NYC anymore. I did go to Cancun last year on a last minute trip- was terrific and I would go again at $50 pp per day for food and drinks. You can save points over 2 years and they will roll them over for you...if you tell them.

We stayed at the Los Pyramids in Cancun (I think that was the name of it) and it was a very clean and lovely place. With AI only $50-$65 pp it is a good deal. Its still Mexico though. I think RHC is best for stays in Europe and big cities like NYC. We used our membership to stay in NY for a week and had a great time.

I don't own any more contracts with them but when I did-- I had fun. But beware they are difficult to re-sell. But, if you can keep this contract, and use it for all the fun places it can bring you, then you will have a great deal with Blondie's offer. 50K RHC points is enough to stay in a two bedroom for a week in most places (not in the big cities of course)
