We had a great week and have newfound enthusiasm for one of our home resorts. We made it there (from CT) in 3 hours (and somewhat longer on the return drive today) last Saturday and were checked in early (!!!) and enjoyed the best (weather) week we could have imagined! The staff has a shot in the arm with some new (young, energized?) management and the seasoned regulars (I'm thinking concierage staff here) were at the top of their game. We were convinced to use our 2009 week (same as this year) next year instead of earlier plans to trade it for a Hawaii trip (we'll use other weeks instead for that). Anyhow, we just wanted to share our delight with this resort - any second guessing after last years bad weather week has been replaced with thoughts of what we'll do and try next year.... We saw fireworks up close at the Borgata on the 3rd (ate at the Old Homestead - yum!) and the next night from afar at the Inlet restaurant (again - yum!) with full family participation (from 85 year old mom to 8 year old daughter) and were 100% happy with the recommendations of the concierage staff in both cases. The MAZE activities have some great new additions for young, family and old at this resort (and other Marriotts!) including Mixology courses and Iron Chef competitions - both inventive and enjoyable...

What more can I say but - this would seem (to us at least) to be an underated resort!

Glad you made it home safe

We too, had a fantastic time in NJ last week. One of the highlights was getting to know you and your family. My daughter is asking when we can have a play date with Sarah!

I'm going to have to buy a week. As the word gets out it's getting harder and harder to trade in!

And it was great meeting you and your family too Holly...

Glad you all made it home safe too! We'll have to stay in touch through TUG PMs and plan to meet up again sometime along our timeshare travels... I'm sure you'll remember Fairway Villas as the place where Mary Quinn learned to swim (!!!)

Oh well, for our daughter and us, its camp and work starting Monday :bawl:

This resort is a great training ground for golf, to teach the whole family how to play golf.
