We bought our Timeshare about 10 years ago for about $10,000 and we have had fun using it but just don't have the flexibility to travel right now due to kids and work restrictions. We purchased it through a resort in Phoenix, AZ and it is a beautiful resort but the nice part about the Timeshare is that it is part of Diamond Resorts (https://www.diamondresorts.com/) and it gives you the flexibility to travel to any of their resorts around the world. The Timeshare uses a point system and we have 2500 points a year (more points can be purchased) This usually provides a 1-2 bedroom condo at most resorts in their network. You can roll unused points over to the next year or even pull points from the next year to be used at the time of booking.

This also comes with a membership in Interval International (http://www.intervalworld.com/web/my/home) which is a fantastic exchange program and for only about $100-150 you can exchange your timeshare with anything in their network. We have used this to stay at nice places in Cabo, Orlando, Phoenix, and Kauai.

The annual dues for the Timeshare are about $900 a year and are due in January. If you are interested please contact me.

Thanks,
Rob E

sorry...

any person taking on a resale product like this will only be able to use it in the Collection it is in. They will not be able to use points in II either from what I understand. The only way to use this Globally would be if the 'purchaser' worked a deal with DRI to buy some extra points from them (usually half of the amount of the resale points) and then they will bring the points into The Club. Resale is still GREAT way to go but best to get all the facts straight before you give it away or you will have an unhappy purchaser:) Good luck:)
