ARP Required for South Shore Zephyr Cove?

Since South Shore Points are often touted as some of the cheapest per 1000 points in maintenance fees, South Shore points are rare and considerably more expensive than other eBay Contracts

Is ARP required to book Prime season at South Shore ?

Within Worldmark the equivalent weeks are booking up at 13 weeks +/- 1 to 3 days, leaving nothing at the 10 month window.

Thanks

WorldMark South Shore is completely booked for next summer in all units, except for a few days here and there.

Wyndham South Shore is showing full 7-day stays available in 1, 2, 3 Bedroom Deluxe and 3 Bedroom Presidential units up until June 19, 2015 (10 months from now).

ARP is probably only necessary for the July 4th week, and possibly the week after, or for the 3 bedroom units at the height of the summer season.

One reason for this is that many (most?) Wyndham South Shore owners own there for the relatively low maintenance fees, and use the points elsewhere, not for ARP at South Shore. The reason the MF is low there (and at other low MF resorts) is because the points required to stay there are so high -- 324,000 points for a 2 Bedroom Deluxe for July 4th week (about $1500) and 238,000 points for the rest of summer (about $1150) for the average Wyndham South Shore owner, and much higher for the average Wyndham owner.

What about Christmas week?

10 months from now is summer, 2015, not Christmas.

Check the 10 month calendar six months from now, I guess.

Owners at Wyndham South Shore probably know that ski conditions are usually not very good around Christmas, and what is there for a family to do at South Lake Tahoe in the winter if not skiing? It would not be surprising to see some availability right at the 10 month mark.

I'm an owner at South Shore and I didn't know the skiing wasn't good then... but then again, I haven't been there yet. Good to know. I just thought you might already know, I knew I couldn't check it now.
