Does it take an RT to put points into the credit pool?

Or just the $39 charge. I am about ready to use my last RT for the year but I'd like to hold off pooling my 2015 points until December to squeeze a little more use out of them.

HtownRose is correct. The "deposit" that requires RT is an exchange deposit to RCI or II.
