If my brother-in-law were to give us his Wyndham membership, does anyone know what the transfer fee would be? Is there any reduction in fees if one is transferring to a family member?

Assuming your name(s) is/are not on the deed(s) along with your BIL, then the following are the fees per contract (not per membership, which can have one or several contracts). The Wyndham transfer fee is $299. This is in addition to any deed prep (LT Transfers is an oft recommended company on TUG and will do this work for ~$125, but you probably already knew that! :) ) and recording fees. Unfortunately no discounts for family members.

I don't know this from any experience, but I think there is only the transfer fee if the contract is for Wyndham Access points. There would be no deed to prepare and record.
