Has anybody gottten an old style Amazon Kindle to work on the WiFi at the Marriott Ko'Olina Beach Club timeshare?

My iPad Retina (which I'm typing on now) and our iPhones work with no problems.

My paper white Kindle worked fine at Ko'Olina. Not sure if that qualifies as an old style?

We never did figure out how to connect to the wifi at Koolina (we were there February, 2013) with our "older" Kindles, even with the help of the IT support at Koolina. It was very frustrating at the time, we ended up connecting via our computer. Did not have any trouble in the past or at Maui Ocean Club-August of 2012. Good Luck. Maybe Kindle support could help at Amazon.

You have the newer model with the backlite screen.

But thanks,

I can check with IT tomorrow, but I think my wife will be in the same boat as you.

Thanks,

I know Brian was having a similar issue with a Kinlde Keyboard a while ago at hotels. Check out this thread, I don't know if he ever found a solution.

If you call up their IT support and give them your Kindle MAC address (look in settings) they can manually add your device.
