Hi All,

We are less than 3 months from our 3rd trip to the Yucatan area. 08/14 -08/23. :whoopie: We've added a couple of nights... that way we won't lose any beach days! Our previous trips were to Wyndham Viva Maya in Playacar in 2003 and Royal Caribbean in 2004. That seems so long ago!

I once heard of "dinner on the beach" at RH. Does anyone have info on that? I've called and emailed a number of times. I haven't heard back from anyone at the resort. I'd like to celebrate our anniversary with a nice beachside dinner, if possible. We don't have any other plans at this time.

Any info regarding the resort or area will be appreciated. Thanks!!

Kevin

Thanks

The Royal Resorts Life that just came in the mail yesterday says to contact specialevents@royalresorts.com (page 60)

Also try this:

http://www.royalresorts.com/app/forms/special_events.aspx

For other info on the resort or area it would be very helpful to know what kind of info you'd like - tours? what to pack? what to expect?

http://www.royalresorts.com will have lots of info, and if you search this forum for royal haciendas you'll find a lot more.

I finally heard from someone yesterday regarding dinner on the beach. Thanks for the info!

Dinner at Maroma Paradise

Since you are at RH, you are not far from Maroma Paradise.

Back in 2006, my wife and I toured RH and asked about a place to have lunch. They recommended Maroma Paradise since it was on the way back to Club Internacional. We arrived about 11AM, ate lunch, hung out most of the day and then decided to sign up for the sunset cruise and dinner on the beach. We closed down the bar and agreed that we would come back once a year.

In 2007, we didn't do the cruise and dinner but we did go hang out for the day and ate at the little restaurant. I think they still do the sunset cruise and dinner on the beach. If RH doesn't offer this, try Maroma.
