In the mail yesterday, we received a 3 day 2 night DESTIN vacation courtesy of Wyndham Vacation Resorts, accommodation at Ramada Limited, Country Inn & Suites or Bayside Inn. Obviously in exchange for a "no high pressure and absolutely no obligation to make any purchase" 120 minutes presentation.

The bit I'm misisng is, they don't state any specific Wyndham Resort that they're trying to sell us. I don't have experience with Wyndham, so maybe you just buy points or something? They want to charge $38 but also offer a $50 gift certificate to Gilligan's Restaurant and Water Sports or, a $50 dinner certificate to a popular area restaurant such as Angler's Copper Grill or Ocean Club.

Is this going to be something worth doing? Thought I'd check it with you guys before I even mention it to DH.

I'd say it would be worth it. Just make sure you check the quality of your accomadations. Also, they usually sell several Wyndam locations depending on what is available at the time. I purchased my upgrade to Bonnet Creek, FL at the Wyndam in Alexandria...(which was good considering the price was lower than if I purchased at Bonnet Creek - go figure). Of course you know not to purchase from the developer, so have a great time.
