Hello There-

I want to share a week with family for a stay at Boardwalk One. The reviews on RCI just aren't that great and there appears to be no recent reviews on the TUG Resort Database.

Comments or otherwise would be welcomed! Thanks!! :wall:

Ocean City Md. ??

I havent been to Ocean City for 30 years, but I think Boardwalk One was there back then...(RCI # 0006 says a lot, this place has been around a while) I cant speak to the units themselves but the location is great..right on the Boardwalk on the widest part of the beach.. Some might not like the Boardwalk activity so close, but on the boardwalk would be my first choice...after all why go to Ocean City if you dont go to the Boardwalk...and enjoy those Thrashers Fries, and Phillips Crab House

Don't you get a 3 month extension on your TUG membership by writing up a resort review --- good or bad. And if you are saying the reviews are ancient, looks like a good bet, yours will be used.

Start writing, is my suggestion ...

How may are staying in the unit and what time of year will they be staying? It is a busy location. I think it has a double bed and a murphy bed. It is the only timeshare on the board walk and the only RCI timeshare located ocean front, although not all units face the ocean. It is fairly small and will be tight for a week long stay with 4 and even 2.

Only 2 will stay in the resort. I was more concern about the "negative" comments as they are a wee bit dated. Thanks for the postive approach in providing insight specific to the resort...as that's what the inquiry was really all about.

I just did a review for my stay last July but it will take a few days to appear. I would stay there but it depends on when I was travelling, who (and how many) I was travelling with and what my plans were for the week. I gave it a 6.5 on the TUG scale and would give it a 2 star on the typical hotel scale. I would say it is a better (but not a whole let better) than your average Ocean City Motel. During the off season I would probably stay 3-5 nights and stay in one of the hotels that stay open year round rather than here. You need to shop around a little because some discount much more than others. Shoulder season would be a maybe and prime season would be a yes only because some of the worst motels charge an arm and a leg that time of year and are much worse but again it depends on who is travelling with me.

Thank you! I am going to search for your review!
