I am moving to the Atlanta area from So. California. I am not used to humidity at all. How bad is it during the summer at the beach areas lets say like Myrtle Beach or Virginia Beach? I have never been to either place. What other beach areas that have timeshares in are that area? Thanks in advance.

You can go to Hilton Head. It gets hot and humid in the summer. At the beach you will have the breeze. It still is hot. You can have days the temp is in the 90ths and be very humid. Heat index can be well over 100. Always carry plenty of water. Carry a cooler with water in the hot months. The heat of the day is from 1130 to 230. Enjoy.

I havent been to Hilton Head for some time it is more laid back than Myrtle Beach Golfers usually love Hilton Head the beaches themselves are great but there is more to do at Myrtle Beach Its more busy more people. My kids love to go to this shopping area they have a animal santuary where you get to hold and get photos with baby animals tigers monkeys etc when all the shops close they have nightly fireworks there. At Myrtle you can make it as relaxing as you want or as busy. We like N Myrtle its a bit away from everything your not right in the mist of all the noise but close enough to all the action :)

My kids love Myrtle Beach as there is so much to do there, ie: Hard Rock Park (newly opened), Family Kingdom, MagiQuest, Nascar raceway to name a few. Tons of great restaurants shopping areas etc. and the beach. Hilton Head, we just relax when going there.
