HHI in January

We have been to Hilton Head in January several times and most of the shops and restaurants were open although there are a few that close. There is a restaurant week every year in January and a lot of the restaurants participate. They have special restaurant week menus at discounted prices. This year restaurant week is Jan 25th to Feb 1, 2014. We will be checking in at Marriott Barony Beach Feb 1, so hopefully we'll be able to take advantage of it, but that is Super Bowl Sunday.

We're finishing up our two weeks at Hilton Head Friday. Believe me, you will not have a shortage of places to eat or activities to do, some of the outdoor ones may be limited due to the cold. The weather has been hit or miss. The weather has been right chilly, but we have had a couple of days in the high 60's. Check out the new Kroger grocery store(nice & large, fairly reasonable prices). Sign up for their shopping card. There's a Kroger gas station in the parking lot near the Belk's. Scan your card & you will get 3¢ off each gal. I paid $3.08 today, other stations were about $3.15. I always sign up for local areas I'm visiting for good deals with groupon and dealsaver. Might want to check out restaurant.com also. Enjoy!
